Ok so I am almost finished with Emily the Strange: The Lost Days
(which I'm totally not all that thrilled with) Feh.

And now I'm trying to decided what to read after. So I created a poll, or at least I'm hoping I did it right! Argh.... I'm not including any manga books, since those books only take me an hour each to read but I do have a few that aren't manga that I haven't even had the chance to dust off since I got them.

I have a WICKED craving to read Gone with The Wind (<----Addiction) but (1.) I don't own it and (2.) I 110% want the leather back with gold leaf one so it goes with my other leather back books. I think after the holidays I'm going to go on a search for it. I know that there is a 2 volume version that came out *I think* in the 80's but that's not the one I'm thinking of.

Don't ask me why, but I've always been attracted to hard cover leather back books like these and as you can see I also like the classics as well. When I was a little girl, I would tell my grandmother that when I grew up, I would have a my own library just filled with leather back books, kinda like the ones you see in the movies! HEHEHE!! ;0P

So yeah after yesterdays major der moment of randomly clicking things, I managed to F up my LiveJournal in different areas. F-ed up my freaking tags, links and all my pics, oh it was fun the crap I did last night!

BUT in the mist of that mess, I did figure out how to fix my ScrapBook section so it's nice and neat and *hopefully* easy to navigate. *points to sidebar* I've also added links to the costumes and to all the conventions, to also try to make things a bit easier. (I'm still uploading and adding pics.) It does seem much easier having everything here in LiveJournal then having multiple windows open. I'd say I'm definitely warming up more and more to LiveJournal and it's features, even though I'm still trying to figure things out here and there. My only downside was this majorly side tracked me until I finally stopped around 2:00am, trying to fix things, and I'm still not done. So I'm not going to be doing any sewing today. I'll be trying to get this back up the way I wanted it except for when I have to go out to shovel SNOW! Freakin' blizzard!
 

I must be missing something somewhere but I was wondering if it is possible in your ScrapBook part of your profile, if one could create a Gallery with different albums in it. Like for instance, I want to create a Gallery for Costumes and then inside that gallery would be the different costumes I've done in separate album folders, you know like one would be for the Xmas Creeper with all those pics and then another one with the Ballerina pics and so on. Then create a different Gallery for LJ friends gifts and so on. Kind of like photobucket.com. You know what I mean?? If it's not possible then no big deal. I was just trying to make things a bit easier and stupid me, I seem to be making it harder on myself somehow. Hrmmmmm.... ***EDIT - Shit! Now I screwed something up! Lost all my pics. Ooops! *pouts* Sorry. I'll fix it! There goes the rest of my sewing. Stupid me....

***EDIT AGAIN - OK I figured it out but unfortunately I figured it out after I accidentally deleted some galleries but re-uploading pics back to it now. *shakes head*

She's always bringing over home cooked goodies. We LOVE her cooking! *drools* Let's see if I can remember from left to right what they are. Chocolate Sugar Cookies, Chocolate Chip Cookies, Lemon Cookies, Chocolate Spritz Cookies and below them are Oatmeal Raisin Cookies and then finally some Cherry Cheesecake Cookie thingies. LOL! Yeah I was pretty much spacing and drooling when she mentioned home made chocolate chip cookies <---- favorite! hehehehe ;0)

I realized that I didn't have AIM in my computer, just on my laptop and my cell. I could have sworn I had AIM in the computer? Hrmmm, weird.

So I just downloaded it into the computer, got it all set up and poof I get this message from someone who isn't on my list. Dude starts asking my why I'm on his list and I'm like "I don't know why I'm on your list?" so then he starts playing this 20 question BS game with me trying to figure out how we know eachother and so I start getting annoyed cause I don't know this friggin dude from a hole in the wall.

I looked at his profile and it was empty so I asked him if he was on any online communities like MySpace or Facebook, thinking maybe it was someone from there. He tells me that he had MySpace but deleted it 3 months ago. So I ask him what was his name there and at first I got "I don't know" then I got "oh it's the same as this name" (meaning the AIM name) and now I'm getting more angry cause I mean seriously you HAD a MySpace only 3 months ago and you can't "remember" what your name was? Really!? Maybe you should concider seeing a doctor pal, if your memory is that freakin' bad!

So then he wants to see a picture of me and I just completely snapped. Told the dude flat out, "I don't know how I got on your list. I don't know you and you don't know me so I think it would be best if you just deleted me off your list! Thanks!"

Angi came over and I found out that we all lost heat. I thought it was a bit chilly this morning, but I didn't really think anything of it, I mean duh it's winter and all and we are in the New England area. Apparently the heater coil went in the boiler, so we're waiting for the plumber to get back to install a new heater coil but in the meantime we'll be freezing our little tushies off. YAY! Won't that be fun kiddies! FYI fieryredhead , bobthemad 's package fiiiiiinally arrived today, so Eric and I will be packing all the gifts up today into one box. I'm hoping to get to the post office later when Eric gets home but if not, Eric will send it out for me tomorrow during his lunch break. It may actually arrive in time for Christmas! Weeeee... And just so you know, in the box will be 4 packages and 2 cards. K? K. ;0p Now I think I'm going to go throw on another layer of socks and make some chai tea. Brrrrrrr...... Hurry up, Mr. Plumber!

Now I think I'm going to get into some comfy jammies, make some hot chocolate and curl up with a book, which reminds me, I did finish Fairest of All: A Tale of the Wicked Queen..... and I Fucking LOVED IT!!! It's a definite must read. Especially if you've seen the Disney's Snow White movie. I could write an whole new blog post on just that alone but I don't want to spoil it for anyone who hasn't read it but yeah love it and now I'm currently reading Emily the Strange: The Lost Days. Just started with it last night so we'll see. Ok no more blogging from me today, promise! hehehe ;0p

Well that's a bit freakin' annoying but I found my packages....OUTSIDE! If I hadn't gone out to meet Zack's bus driver (yes, the school FINALLY got around to calling me back LATE last night, was so not happy about that either), I doubt I would have even noticed the packages or at least until Eric got home from work and found them.

For those of you that don't know, I live in an apartment building. There is a front door you go into, where all the buzzers are and mail boxes and so on and then there is a second door that only us tenants have keys to. Unless of course we buzz you in. Usually our mail man/woman will buzz our door, we come down and he/she hands us our package. If not they leave it on the stoop between the 2 doors. This was the first time I've ever found packages outside. Plus it totally looked like they were just thrown there too.

I also talked with Angi earlier before I found the packages outside and found out that she too has been having problems with mail lately. She's also waiting for packages to arrive but the mail man has been claiming that an "attempt at delivery" was made on some of her packages, which she knows is total bullshit cause she's home ALL DAY and he never left any notices for her. She found out about the so called attempts from checking online the tracking numbers of her items.

Nice huh!

Sometimes I really hate the postal company, I really do. Dealing with them in person at the office isn't a walk in the park either. There's one woman there that I dread dealing with cause she's a total rag and has such a crappy attitude. I mean you can tell she's been there tooooooo long if you know what I mean.

I'm going to go snap pics of the ornaments now and post them in a bit. Wow, I think this is the most I've blogged in one day?? LOL UGH!

OMG! I'm going to spaz right the fuck out of the USPS bitch!!! She rings my door and by the time I got up and opened the door (which took less then a friggin' minute), she was already half way back to the USPS truck leaving!

Ok I understand it's the holiday season and all but FUCKING SLOW DOWN YOU CRACK HEAD!!! You can't just ring someones bell and then leave once you've pushed it!!! I even yelled at her as she was jumping back into the truck but did she hear me....NOOOOOOoooooo!
